Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our passionate team in Leeds. This role will primarily focus on identifying training needs, developing and delivering training programmes, and evaluating their effectiveness to enhance employee performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in instructional design and strong communication skills, capable of fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skills gaps and training priorities.
  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs to meet organisation-wide objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with department heads to implement targeted learning strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions using diverse methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in learning and development.
  • Support employee development initiatives to promote career advancement.
  • Manage training budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Create a library of training materials and resources.
  • Maintain records of employee progress and training compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant discipline
  • A professional qualification in training or development preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in learning and development or a similar role
