Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our passionate team in Leeds. This role will primarily focus on identifying training needs, developing and delivering training programmes, and evaluating their effectiveness to enhance employee performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in instructional design and strong communication skills, capable of fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement tailored training plans aligned with organisational strategy.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to gauge training retention and application.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive training calendar for the company.
  • Communicate training opportunities via internal channels to increase participation.
  • Gather metrics and data to evaluate the impact of training on performance.
  • Design evaluation frameworks to measure training efficacy.
  • Encourage employee participation in professional development initiatives.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with HR to integrate learning and development into performance management.
  • Support change management initiatives through targeted training.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant discipline
  • A professional qualification in training or development preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in learning and development or a similar role
